Transformability is central to this AW18 collection: cleverly executed poppers turn a checked fine Merino wool jacket to a bolero and wide legged trousers into cropped pants; a Japanese-inspired Irish linen shirt can easily be worn with a collared shirt underneath or with a belt to nip it in.
This collection plays with the balance of masculinity and femininity within the creation of shape through drape and creative pattern cutting- taking a traditional tailored jacket but using curved paneling and a corset-like waist to give it a feminine cut.
Tradition blends with modernity with this seasons choice of fabrics; heritage tartan is infused with subtle pinks, purples and yellows and delicate laser cutting, inspired by 15th century lace which is etched into the suede. Throughout, pops of neon colour contemporize pure worsted wool and the bold checks on heavy Melton.
